New CDL holder from 1 state and moving to another state question?

I will see if I can find that in the green book as I only looked up the driver license side.

NC CDL div. told me as long as HM was good, not expired/need renewing that it would transfer over. Other wise like normal if you did not move you would need to do the whole 9 yards.
I just had the back ground/finger prints done and plan on testing soon so hope I don't need to do over again.
