One day. Right now I'm pretty happy. Made and saved a boatload of money this, my first year. Had no idea I would run this hard. Just always looking, talking to other drivers. Fascinated by tankers mostly.
Edited to add: and fascinated by the money Crete/Shaffer are paying!

Just be careful. Read the fine print. Sometimes companies like these will add the sign on bonus, safety bonus, free meals during orientation, per diem scam etc. What you want is $.50 a mile without per diem and everything else.

    Skydivedavec Thanks this.

There's no BS in the pay rate here. Coming over with one year experience, you'd get 45 for Crete, 48 for Shaffer.

    Skydivedavec and rodknocker Thank this.

Congrats my friend. Recent grad as well and have a decision to make; Werner or Covenant. Good luck on your training and career sir.

Doubt covenant or Weiner is paying nowhere near $.48 a mile. Don't settle for less, it'll never change if you do

Sorry for posting late guys, been busy with orientation. No word of a lie, I will be getting 2500 miles a week min at .37 after training and then being bumped up to .48 a mile after 6 months.

Eveything so far has been amazing, from the food to the people working in the office and helping all of us transition into the company. If anyone is looking for a great company to work for, Consider Shaffer or Crete Trucking.

Just a reminder, the 2500 is not a guarantee unless you're on an actual dedicated. Its what they claim is the low end on average for miles. You won't get that on home time either. Having said that, I rarely hurt for miles when I'm actually running.
