I would really like to know this as well. I would go to bat for the op with whatever company it is. Give me a few phone numbers and I would be more than happy to piss in someone's Cheerios. If he drives for Swift as I do I would work with the op to document this and eventually put a driver manager in the unemployment line. This kind of crap makes me cross eyed mad and there are a few people who currently or formerly work for Swift who will tell you that's a really bad thing.

From the looks of past posts, the Op works for TWT I think. Since we haven't heard from him, hopefully he's getting some much needed and deserved rest...

    JReding and icsheeple Thank this.

If someone had... I'm sure that person's fate would've been sealed by tire thumpers.

Give OSHA a call if you get fired for shutting down due to fatigue. They'll go to bat for you.

No, nothing stinky in Denmark here.

My kids got here about an hour or so ago bringing me chicken noodle soup, broth, and a few other things to try and help me feel better so I came on to see what you said. To be honest, I honestly thought that I would be told to suck it up princess and just keep on truckin. That's what some people have said. I did my best for a while.

At this point you're right I cannot safely drive this truck but trying to tell my dispatcher that is the hard part. I'm going to put it on the Qualcomm that I do not feel safe as exhausted as and sick as I am.

At this point I am seriously considering using the have to go to the doctor card just to make sure that I get some time off. My paychecks going to be tiny because of my days off and now this but at least nobody is going to be dead.

Yes, I work for TWT. Their dispatchers are nortorious for being crappy. They get pushy, they get rude, they get mean, and they get threatening. My dispatcher was already from day one threatening me till I went over his head and at this point I may have to do it again.

I don't even think a 10 hour is going to be enough I am so tired I am nauseous. I have been able to handle being sick and driving. Its just since I wasn't able to get sleep now I can't seem to catch up on it.

Forgot to mention I just had a layover for about 38 hours that they are saying was a 34 hour restart so they don't have to pay me the layover pay but it's just wasnt enough. This virus is really nasty.

Oh and it's "She" not he. ;-)
