forgot to mention about mx-13 paccar motor that i would probably go with, not cuminns for shore. people telling me that this 455 power more than enough for California. still thinking about automatic transmission, many say its good on fuel and practical, just one of my friends dont recomend it beacouse of many little things that it have, that needed always to be changes, like sensor and stuf...

If you are limited to 105km/hr go 3.55 the mx likes to run about 1350 rpm or so it pulls good down to 1050 rpm unless you run light you won't like the 3.36 rpms are too low and you will downshifting a lot .. Also jakes are weak under 1300 but hold good at 1500 to 1600 I'm running a 2015 mx13 455/1650 it pulls 3 axle not too bad ... under 80,000 I'm pretty happy for a small motor I had 1 sensor on recall just turned 150,000 km fuel wise I do 30litres per 100 on tandems and 34 per 100 on tri axle running 103 to 105 km/hr on two lane roads with winter fuel... It's much better on 4 lane with lighter loads though I will warn you until you do first valve set at 64,000km it's pretty weak on power by 120,000km the computer gives you full power then it's not bad.. Paccar programs them that way

    Grijon and KonstanTrucker Thank this.

LoL...never been any holy nor toly that i know...
Im home prked for at least 2 months....i just took out the crankase filter filled with oil and moisture, that a good sign that it did it's job to keep to get out into ground/air to " stop the pollution'' what a joke for epa to force engine builders to do that imo.....i"ll try to run w'out it cause i see now when cold outside lots of moisture and sludge it's building up under the oil filler cap and inside the pipe.....imo that's because the crankase not ventilating quick enough... wonder if others have that....on isx and t680....
