just gonna say this.....no experience with flatbed CAN equal bad things! I have very little, only strapping, experience(from helping guys in my former industry)....but not 'knocking' on anyone but you'd think they would ask someone with some flatbedding experience? WTF is up with that? Kinda makes one wonder, so to speak! And no sdaniels, nothing has changed other than I don't deal with that DM! haha Now, with a new one on the way, I wonder if I can date one of those cute office chicks and get away with it....oh wait, they might lose their job! D'OH!

Hello I'm looking at coming to Epes once I'm finish with school. What's the pay rate while you're in training and after for regional drivers?

wish I could be more honest with ya....but things have changed VERY QUICKLY here at EPES! We now have Trailer Detention pay! YEAY! About 3 years ago it was 0.25 cpm during training.....but they may have bumped that up to 0.26 or 0.27/28 cpm.....best guess is to call recruiting!

Sounds like they are going to start paying for find the empty game ? About ten years to late. Now a bonus for getting trailers fixed.

well...after seeing my DM and asking about it today...the trailer detention pay, that I read about in the monthly newsletter, was for the DM's NOT the drivers :( Well, isn't the Rolling Review suppose to be about and FOR the drivers? Oh well....sorry for the confusion!

So driver managers now get paid to laugh at drivers trying to find a empty trailer? Sounds like a Susan idea !

Somehow...I'm almost 99.9999999% you're right...wonder how far her idea of 'giving drivers a hard time' will go.......as history has proven to us, as humans, there's only so far you can go BEFORE you get the axe! French revolution as an example!

and it was was worded in a way that seemed like it was meant for us....but was told that DM's have 48 hours to let customers know they have to unload the trailer before THEY get charged detention of our trailer. Why put that in the newsletter.....why not make an OFFICE MEMO, OR better yet....and weekly EMAIL to ALL DM's and PLANNERS? *shrugs shoulders*

2014 paid miles 127,350. Not bad for company that others complain about getting miles.
