Pisses me off noone decorates hardly anymore in this country. I looked forward to seeing how ppl decorated....get out....Nuthin!!!!,
Sure bits here and there but overall Nada. 4th of July seems more popular for that.


Was highlighted 3 days 3200 mi with a morning in shop kept forgetting to hit button inbetween preplanned rescue relays. Was on screen though.

Feelin y'alls pain. Last year, snowed in at Iowa 80 on 22nd, sittin on a hazmat load. Took Desmoine bound load to Pocahontas for relay, deadhead back to Muscatine (right near Iowa 80). Muscatine to Lawrenceville, no empties, Christmas eve. Bobtail 600 miles to Miami for a trailer, deadhead home around 16:00 Christmas afternoon. Humming, "I'll be home for Christmas"!

Year before, finished an overnight drive and 7 am delivery with two minutes left on my clock on 23rd somewhere in NC. Go to bed, and phone and QC start blowing up. Haven't been in bed an hour yet!

Fleet manager says go to Conway Freight in Charlotte and meet other florida guys in an suv. I told her I still had 9 hours left on my break and another hour and a half to get to Charlotte. She said they will wait..they did and we drove all night and got home on Christmas Eve.

This year, got home a week and a half ago. No stress, wife wants me back on the truck on the 26h, (ain't leaving til the 3rd or 4th) son pretty sure he wants me gone too, but no way I can pass up this opportunity to remind them that if I get a local job I will be home every night! EVIL laugh huaaaaaaaa.
