Brian and I dropped our load at our customer Saturday night at 11:45 pm, we both had our loads home sitting at our loading dock waiting on us. After dropping Brian off at his truck and helping him unload his belongings, we both hooked to our trailers and went to bed. I left at 4am after my break was up. I made it down to the loves in Ocala and called it a night, this was after my right side wiper arm decided to leave my truck in a monsoon. Luckily I carry extra wipers, believe it or not, this is about the 20th time this has happened over the years, so I carry extra ones just for this reason. I got to my first drop at 8am, was empty by 9:30 and at my last drop here in Plantation at noon, where I still sit and wait, while the lack of communication between shipper and customer, only affects me, 15 miles from the house.

Finally got my one cooler off and now waiting on my wife to come and get me. Home till Sunday night/Monday morning. This last round, has to be, in the almost 35 years out here, the best round I've ever had, and it's for one very good reason, Brian. 7200 paid miles in 7 days. I'm grateful for listening to him when he was on his way in last week. What was the chance that 2 seasoned drivers with passports and Canada experience would be in the yard at the same time hooking to a true team load? We were, and the rest is truly amazing. All because he offered, I accepted and dispatch was onboard with it all. Thanks buddy, without your suggestion I would have spent Christmas somewhere that looked nothing like my home.
