I am currently working for Roehl Transport. They are very good company to work for. Lots of friendly people that try and help and are reasonable. They get me home when they say.And I like it there.
But be advised... If taking there health insurance, you must keep it the entire year per IRS regulations.
There are some things in there health insurance that aren't working for my family too well. It is almost like we don't have health insurance. So the $80 bucks a week that I pay for it,is getting flushed down the toilet. I tried to cancel it and cannot until the end of the year per IRS regulations.
So if your just starting with Roehl... Your with one of the best there is to start out with.
But MAKE SURE you look over the insurance very closley. It has High deductables. Be prepared to pay for all doctors visits and hospitals stays until the deductables are reached with cash. Shop around for insurance!
Because if you take it,your stuck for the year with no way out but to quit the company. BE ADVISED!!!:biggrin_25510:

I'm always glad to hear about a good company, there's way to many that seem to be questionable to say the least. I went to Roehl's website but it doesn't say where they train, where they take trainees from, where they run or where there depots r. Do u happen to know any of this? I'm in NW AZ by Vegas do they hire out west? Thanks.:biggrin_2554:

Roehl has a full training facility in Marshfield WI. They will train you to get your CDL and everything. I know they have a drop yard in CA. But they will assign you a truck. So I would imagine they would hire from that area in AZ.You would have to find a place to park it on your hometime,at a truck stop or something. Talk to the recruiting department to find out for sure.

That seems rather steep. I'm guessing you have dependents on the policy. How much would it be with no dependents?

Yes, its the family plan with dental. I will have to check a brochere for singles costs. I would advise shopping around. There is much better insurance out there! $500 detuctable for doctor visits per person. $3000 detuctable per person for hospital visits. Basically insurance with NO COVERAGE!:biggrin_25512:

I wish my insurance only had a $500 deductible! And people think we teachers have such great insurance. My deductible is $750, and then I pay 25% of everything on top of that.

Yes I had trouble understanding it myself. I called the IRS today. It has to do with the money being taken tax free. And I seem to have no rights as a consumer spending my money on this crap!
I'm really disappointed that Roehl has such junk insurance. And that Roehl doesn't inform employees that your stuck with the crap the whole year and can't cancel it.
It is the worst insurance my family has every had!!:biggrin_2552:
