Orientation is 4 days long with the sorta lead driver named Mark. He's a great guy, I kiked him and he's no nonsense. Then your trainer will pick Ya up and you drive until he or she thinks your ready to be cut loss.

    Grijon and enicolasy Thank this.

Orientation starts with you arriving in Fargo and checking into a decent hotel. The hotel provides a breakfast that exceeds expectation. 1st day of orientation they whisk you off for the unavoidable UA and then back for the mind numbing safety presentations and form filling exercises. Check your stomach at the door as some of the videos show "unfortunate endings" to the motoring public. That fills the first day, and if they're quick about it you might make it back to the motel in time for the social hour held at the adjoining hotel - free beer and snacks anyone? Repeat for day 2 and 3. If the UA results are in by day 4 your good to go. Experienced drivers are outta there, but the students might have to wait for their trainers. During that wait you'll still enjoy the same hotel AND be paid for waiting. My most important word of advice is to make the most of the opportunity to visit corporate. You'll be meeting dispatchers and management - put your best foot forward and put a face to those you'll be working with!

Janet is pretty spot on, but the mind numbing videos are/were held off until Wednesday for us. UA was on Tuesday morning and physical for those that where close to expression then a 20 road test. The hotel that she speaks of, really a nice place. I also believe Mark is trying to make the presentations easier to stomach, and it is working as best it can for them types of videos and talks. But yes she speak-a the truth.

was no physical, only people that needed DOT got them, we all peed in a cup. they pay for you to get there. like they pay and I didn't have to pay back.its either bus, plane, or rental car (company paid) depending on distance.

ill let someone with more time here explain their per diem, but yes they have and we, drivers, have the option to opt in or out your choice.

Was wondering about like if the doctors were measuring necks on fat people like me not worried about the per part. Good to know about the per deim. Even better about the plane. Not sure if they would even hire me out of Massachusetts. Pet policy? Miles per week? Pay period end and start? No weekly or weekly pay? Detention pay? What type of loads multi stop? Or mainly one stop distribution center loads? Main customers? Trucks speed limitor? Camera in the truck?

they will hire out of Mass. yes on pets cost 250 paid 50 per check till paid. biweekly pay every other Wednesday. detention pay after 2 hours 25/hr. multi stop 30 for additional except 1st and last, mostly live loads. trucks limited to 62ish no cameras in trucks. so far my loads have been longer hauls shortest was 1300 but have been with a trainer so I am sure i have more trench time in my future. Main Customer.... any company that makes french fries and beer. usually one stop but they do have some usual runs

also plus .05 cpm to whatever your COM is with HAZMAT. so if your at 38 cpm after your 90 days then pay is 43 cpm with hazmat. (hope that made sense. hope this has answered some of your questions call them and ask for Paul

Detention is $15 an hour after 2 hrs
    Truck is governed at 64
Some loads multi stop. 30 per stop extra after the first and last.
Im averaging 2800- 3000 miles a week easy.
    Pay is every other Wednesday
Ive hauled everything from french fries, sour cream, pepperoni, sausage, beer, fibreglass, fracing materials, cambell soup, yougart, coce cola, turkey, chicken, egg products, tools, hardware, bird sead, cardboard, and juice....lol,

Per diem is .10 per mile ... you can opt out and there is no charge is you want in. So if your making .40cpm, .30 will be taxable and .10 cpm is tax free

Ask about Mass. I dont think we have loads going there.... Jersey and PA are usually the furthest into the NE we go....as far as I know....

Headed to NC now for a monday delivery. Then hometime till next monday. This makes them 100% still on getting me home on the exact day I asked to be home.
    Loving my job here
