First and foremost thank you to all the Vets in the truckin industry that offer what the grey hairs have instilled in them. I recently got the itch to make a little extra income by purchasing a used truck.

Plans are as follows: I plan on buying a used truck outright nothing super expensive. Pre 2003 model year rigs. Nothing over 21k.

Want to contract it out to haul for the dairy (lots of work) they cover all expenses up from and deduct it from settlement.

I won't be driving the truck but will be hiring a driver

what advice do you all have for me. I like the Peterbilt and KW classic look trucks. But that's just "looks" I'm looking to make money and a half decent truck for my driver. I will also need a midroof truck

Thanks again for all your input!

Schneider has dozens of trucks for sale on their website. Lots of midroof and flat tops in your price range. The website has about 20 pages of trucks for sale; the cheapest are on the last couple of pages.

Truckpaper.com usually has some in your price range also.
