Humber College is a reputable name. However, you need to know how to drive stick before going there, else they wont take you.

Thanks alot.I dont know how to drive stick. Is there anyone else you could recommend? Also is there a sticky on this Forum that has a list of AZ schools trucking companies would hire from without hesitation? Thanks

There is one called 5th Wheel and another Transport Training Centers of Canada. Now they are not exactly in Toronto but not far. I think 5th wheel even offers to pay for your hotel stay if you join them. Both are very good. Best way to find out is to call a few real big companies like Schnider for example, and ask what schools they like.
I myself went to Sprint Driving School - they are a private college, not really known but Schnider heard of them. They are accredited. But if I were to do it again, I would go to 5th Wheel or TTCC. -
Thanks for the response Tzar.I would prefer not to drive to the school so I'm kinda looking for a GTA school right now. What do you think of Richards Truck driving school in Mississauga? Thanks.

The name sounds familiar, but I dont remember. Like I said, dont be lazy and call a few big companies that hire new students and ask them about the school.

Im planning to go to the Brampton location. I had a meeting with Brian and was very impressed. its a ttsao accredited school so a number of companies will take you on as a new driver. -
Just lie about driving stick, really doesn't help you that much IMO to know how before you hop in a rig.
