I did a site search on both "Watchdawg" and "Lugdawg". Zero hits on either.

Does anybody have any experience with either or both of these products?
Yes, I know nothing will absolutely prevent unauthorized use, removal or whatever but Sometimes all it takes it making it slightly more difficult than normal to make them move onto the next guy who is less prepared. So lets limit the responses to reviews of the actual product by people that have used, or at least have seen, them in person.

Like you said, not fool proof, but makes for a less tempting target. Never seen or used a Lugdawg, but I might like it just to have something to step on when climbing on top of my tire to wash the windshield...Last edited by a moderator: May 9, 2015

That watchdawg thing looks like you might be able to just unscrew the whole knob. I like the one that goes over both knobs better. I haven't used either, just commenting on what I see.

^The warlock is the one I use. Available at the bigger TA truck stops. There are other companies that make it -- just make sure it is adjustable so you can leave your trailer knob in for those freezing nights

I am familiar with the Watchdawg. It replaces the standard yellow knob. Doesn't just unscrew like someone mentioned. There is several of the "cover type" locks like someone shared - WarLok and the Enforcer Air Cuff are the most common. Advantage of the Watchdawg is it becomes your normal dash knob. It doesn't get taken off and stored away like those others. Makes it very quick to lock and more likely to be used. Great safety item. Says you are from central Florida. If you get to Jacksonville the Rush Truck Center had them in the parts department so you could see one.

Anyone on here ever actually USE this product? - It now comes in Chrome or basic aluminum.
I'm curious to see if once locked and set, will it rotate freely??
If it does, then this item is excellent. If it doesn't then I'd be curious about removal even while locked. -
I am very familiar with both the Watchdawg and Lugdawg. The Watchdawg will replace the standard yellow knob and you put an adapter on. The housing slides over the top of the adaptor and with the valve out and will lock right up tight to the dash. When you want to release the brakes unlock the unit and slide it back, lock it back onto the adaptor and push it in the valve to release the brakes. The unit stays on and will rotate around the adapter without a problems in all positions. All you have to do is keep track of the key and your good to go. I like the Chrome one, adds some looks to it. Hope this helps.
