i think it has mostly to do with where u live if ur record is clean, ur from vegas i think i read? i kno we have a few drivers that live out there and some in az, about the only way they get home is with a transfer load from a poly plant to there. i think they are told by upper where they need and dont need drivers, thats why there are so many fl drivers, we have freight goin there all the time. so i think it goes by how many drivers live in an area and how many loads go there. that would be my guess, i would think Indiana and Illinois would be a good area but i dont kno how many drivers we have from there.

When I did my interview a few months back, the hr guy said they have hundreds of apps but almost all have bad records. I saw about 100 on meghans desk and could see how they could overlook or misplace some.

The sole reason they contacted me was that I was at my previous job for 5.5 years ,
they don't bother with those that hop jobs like a bunny.
according to HR they are swamped with job hoppers.

Was told that was a display trailer that sat out front. If you notice it's only on one side of the trailer.

I kinda wondered about why it was a 1 sided trailer, and on the passenger side at that. The only people that might read it would be those poor Cretens, Swifty's, Punkin's, and Jim-Bob's...but since it doesn't have a phone number or website, kinda' figured it wasn't a recruiting trailer.

oh, and if anyone is going into Pol-tex the next few days, don't wash your truck before you go in...with all the construction our neighbors are doing plus all the rain they've had lately, it looks as if you went off-roading in your truck by the time you leave.

    Got my back haul finally.
Im rolling just over 700 miles to
'rescue' a load that's been grounded
for 9 days due to a break down.

According to the broker ( who's really upset)
poly rerouted his load in order to repower and
rescue their plastic load and he's been hanging out
to dry ever since .They re powered and just left his
    loaded trailer sit .

    Sad but true

If management doesn't crack the whip on these back haul service failures, we won't have any brokers that will want to do business with us...

A solid day. Rolled 570+ miles, 4 drops knocked off in New Mexico with only one remaining for Phoenix. Made it to Milan, NM where one of my favorite restaurants is, easy parking spot during the snow, no wait on a shower and now finishing off chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, fried okra, green chili stew and a sopapilla for under 12.00:) Sleeping in tomorrow to let the plows and the sun do their work before rolling down to Phoenix for an early Thursday morning delivery of the remaining two pallets. Supposedly getting a back haul out of Phoenix instead of returning to PW which is fine.
