    Hello Everyone,

Looking for information on which states allow tire bulge and how much. I am trying to haul a tall wheel loader on a low pro step and to bring down the height need to take some air out of the tires but not too sure about the tire bulge tolerances in various states. Thank you in advance for your help.

If you go over 8'6" wide you are oversize. Are we talking about the loader or your trailer?

They go by 50% of the tire pressure printed on the sidewalk of your tires. Anything under that, they consider the tire to be flat.

OK, this is probably a stupid comment, but it seems to me that letting enough air out of your tires to make a difference in height is going to lead to tire failure.

Hope you put enough money in the fee to buy new tires. Running then low,you may be buying a few along the way.

Here is a better idea.. Use a lowboy or let air out of the loader tires. Running your trailer tires low on air is not the answer.

Go under your trailer and adjust the height control valve to drop your airbags, your tire may rub a little againt the deck but you should be fine,do the same with the truck.i hauled 11 ft tall freight on mine once

Thank you all for your replies but gentlemen i am apologize for not making myself clear earlier. I was talking about taking air out of the loader tires not my trailer tires that'll be darn stupid

Man I can't tell you how glad I am to see you say that. I'm thinking to myself, "This guy claims 7 years of commercial driving?"

I wouldn't think what you are talking about would be a big rip, unless it made them bulge out so far they were over you width specs. BUT DON'T TAKE THAT AS GOSPEL, that was an "opinion."

You still have a tire bulge problem. But you tarpped it so it's harder to see.
