Is Progressive the only company for a Florida startup?

Florida is one of the highest States for insurance. Car and truck but not double
progressive is also a higher company to insure with, at least that's what I've heard on the truck side

New start up shouldn't be as big of a hurdle with your experience unless the insurance company either found something else or they are thinking you are a new driver. Make sure they know you're experienced and are just doing your own accounts

 

Call Hadley and Lyden out of Orlando. You can look them up on the Internet. I have been using them ch or several years.

 

Call Judy at 407-478-5881. She is with Benton&Parker in Orlando. She is a straight shooter and always gave me the best rates. I shopped prices every year, and she was always the lowest.

 

Try 1stguard(they are from florida) or heritage trucking insurance. Progressive is highest insurance compare to other smaller companies.

When I began my own authority out of Nevada progressive wanted $28,000 for interstate insurance then capped it at a 750 mile radius. TBS offered me a policy at 12,000 a year. And that was the cheapest I could find.
