if it were true, then many of us Poly drivers who get stranded at the yard so often when the truck is in the shop should have baby smooth skin since all we have is a locker room shower that gets cleaned once a week if we're lucky.

    I've never had it happen.

And unless it's throwing a code or showing a check engine light when it does it, a shop will have a hard time troubleshooting the problem (not just our shop, even the dealer would have trouble). If you're still in the truck that blew the turbo, I'd check the new wiring harness they replaced and/or make sure the wires are connected good at the ECM. Other than that, unless it died completely, it's likely going to be a tough repair.

Well I got my backhaul yesterday 360 mi deadhead to johnsonburg pa delivering in irving tx tomorrow. 1700 miles in 48 hours is doable but snow in dc and northern pa slowed me down. Broker changed appointment to Monday. Poly approved my 900 diff and gave me a outbound going to lakeland fl delivering on momday. Good miles and everything went fairly smooth.

I honestly must say, this has been one of the busiest January's I have seen in quite a while. With this weeks miles (that pay next Friday) I will have been paid for over 12,000 miles (counting the carry-over from the trip home before New Years)...I know I can't keep up that mileage pace all year since I haven't been home since New Years Day (sure seems longer) but it's given me a leg up on 2015's monthly mileage average. So this is what it would feel like if we had reliable, dependable trucks...hmmmmm...maybe there is hope. Heard a rumor that, while no truck purchases have been made recently, they're talking about going back to Freightliner because these International's have been such a unreliable investment...hope it isn't a rumor!
