I haul frac sand in NM and TX. I am needing a way to secure my hoses to the trailer to prevent theft. I have a tube I can lock for one of the 20' hoses but I have another 20' and two 10' that I strap to the fenders. Does anyone have any ideas as to secure these where they won't get stolen? I don't want to buy more tubes as the truck and trailer is not mine. I would however like to come up with a fairly easy solution to secure them. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know how big your hoses are for that job, but when I hauled hazmat chemicals, I carried a couple of leakers and always put them on top of the good hoses. Only hoses I had stolen were the leakers; once they had pressure in them, they started leaving puddles everywhere, then the thief driver had a chemical spill he had to explain.

Wrap a chain around them and put a padlock on

Put the train thru the hose and lock it. Or get a pit bull and tie it to the hose. Granted not mine she would lick them and try to play with the thieves.

Dont put hem on the fenders, your probably losing them on the road. Ive never had a problem with getting product hoses stolen, Put them in your cab if you dont have a hose box, roll them up wrap a bungee around them on the floor they go in front of the pass seat.

Tell your Boss that THEIR EQUIPMENT is being stolen because THEY don't have a way on THEIR trailer for you to prevent it. Throw that problem back in THEIR laps where it belongs.

What? You can't roll up a 4 inch hose and put it in the cab.
