Never ride behind a uhaul car trailer.
(They don't lock the ramps back in...)

Shut it down before ridley comes on the trucking channel if running Midwest or east.

Never turn my hibeams off in the state of Virginia or Iowa....thank you for your business....at a weigh station.... Smh.

Park next to a truck in a rest area or truck stop. Not the middle of an available three.

Stay off interstates if there is a shorter way and "it is decent way" in my opinion.

    No ugly women
    No animals
    No kids allowed

Always keep a spare vehicle key in your pocket if you are driving cross-country. That way if you lock your keys in the car you have a spare!

    NavigatorWife Thanks this.

**Keep the left door closed as much as possible and locked always.
**Don't spend too much time in the driver's lounge grousing about all those other miserable trucking companies and their steering wheel holder drivers.
**Stay in the #2 or #3 lane and let those long-noses race by me if they want.
    **Turn off the CB.

And my most important personal driving policy of all:

**Remember why I did this in the first place.

Good stuff.....already posted...I'm just a little different on the cruise control thing,,,I never use it...even on long stints. I just feel I'm more in control if I don't. Not saying it's any safer to not use it....just that I don't.

SHO-TYME and Mr Ed Thank this.

Check vanity mirror on sun visor every 10 seconds for stray boogie's and out of place nose hair.

Use knees to steer just in case your jam comes on and you need to use hands to play air fiddle, air drums, or need to use your bald up fist like a mic.

Check your mirrors every few seconds so no one will know that you are the one who is saying you don't have any pannies on.

Watch the passenger mirror of drivers passing you so you know exact time to blast him with the 5 billion candle light power high beams.

Tiny Jim I don't see forum staff under your name. So I suggest you respect your elders. Speak when spoken to, and you may have the privilege to see another day. Do you smell what Dino is cooking?

Always make sure you use Gatorade bottles when peeing while driving. Nice big openings. Don't use water bottles

at least that's what my friend told me.

Those bottles are to small for me, I need something like a beer can with the lid cut off.
