I would highly doubt that the company would be sold. Has been owned by the same family since it's inception...that would be like selling the goose that lays the golden eggs. This is one of the few companies that was handed down from that wasn't run into the ground. Most companies that are passed down turn into the kids ATM. Even with a company as large as Walmart went down hill when Sam died...all in all, the only complaints I have are the reliability of the equipment and some of the quirky rules...when the truck is staying on the road without problems, the rules are no big deal. Honestly, I hope that the current leadership brings their kids up to continue grandpa's ways of doing business...and I wouldn't know the owner if they were sitting next to me...but as a business people, they seem to have the knack of keeping things profitable...I don't think they would want to part ways with this place after all this time.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Got a backhaul call to roll to Poltex from San Antonio for a load returning to Henderson. Had to go up to GP to drop my truck off for PM, DOT and oil leak so snagged a loaner. Only thing wrong is I got a 900 same but they forgot to put it in the computer system so now I have to wait until in the morning to get it fixed and get a new load number. Oh well just going to cost me an extra couple of hours so no biggie. Should end up January with 13,500 miles or so and 5 days off for the month. On the board for Monday and looks like I might actually get to run into some ###### weather if the forecast holds up the way it stands. Beautiful day today with temps in the 80's across southern Texas.

Man do things change quick here. Last year in Outbound it was Carl and John...then Carl left and Kaleb came in. Then John moved to another position and Myron came in...now Kaleb has moved up and Nick is there...we're gonna' need a 'Hello my name is' tags so we k ow who is who anymore.
