It is this type of attitude that has turned the industry (and possibly the country) into a "big brother's watching you" intrusion.
Give up YOUR rights if you want. But don't trample on MINE. Sad...just very, very sad that the masses of oblivious sheeple don't see where all this privacy intrusion is eventually gonna lead.
You can no longer buy a cell phone that can't be 'tracked'. You can no longer walk down a street without being 'tracked' by one camera then the next. You can no longer drive down the street without being 'tracked' by cameras, and other devices. What's next? Your home? What the hell do YOU care...you're not doing anything wrong, right? Let the government put cameras in every room of your house. Got nothing to loose right?

Lonesome Thanks this. -
It's plain and simple. If you are ok with a camera in your truck, great.
If not get the hell out of that truck and into ones that don't. The camera in the truck thing
isn't going away anytime soon. -
They probably need to keep a camera trained on little Mikey
WisconsinF150 and Tall Mike Thank this. -
Without turning this into a political discussion, we must acknowledge that White Dog made a very important and often overlooked point.
He alluded to what is the most slippery slope in the history of man, and that is the question of "if you're not doing anything wrong, what do you have to worry about".
Well, that doesn't work for me. I do this job because I'm NOT babysat. Some of us are actually responsible enough employees to not need that.drvrtech77, Hitman, passingthru69 and 2 others Thank this. -

In this industry every screening technology or device for driver tracking, etc. after adoption primarily by larger carriers in the name of cost savings, eventually becomes mandatory. And any rights given up are by the driver and nobody else. So when you accept it, it will eventually be forced upon me no matter who's truck I am driving.

Funny how some drivers do not want a camera in their truck but ok to VIDEO everything , everybody around them so they can post on USELESS TUBE and get EWWS and AHHS from viewers
