Well that advice came after working for the crooks I was just telling him what I learned after working for western.

 

You know when I was working there a couple of years ago the highest you can get paid was .30 cpm in the dry van side I don't know about now. Anyways looking back I would say yeah I could of found something better but I wasn't thinking right during that time I had so many family problems I was going through that I just wanted to get away from at home. I ain't no steering wheel holder either I took all the loads I was sent drove through bad weather and chained up everytime. I'm not one of those drivers that likes to sit at the motels although I can't blame them you could of just sat at one of their customers for up to 20 hours and not get a single penny for detention. Who the f..k likes working for free you want everyone to just suck that up and then there a good driver just cause they like to take it up the .ss and be a company pet. My dispatcher also cheated me on local short haul pay the first 2 months I worked there he took advantage that I was new to the company and when I found our how much I was to make on the short loads I confronted him about it and he just plead ignorance. I can name that a-hole if anyone wants to know he worked at the fontana terminal.
