Guys, please recommend me a good set of wheels and tires that is suitable for winter drive and what tire pressure should you suggest.

Slow down, you have to give our brains time to process the abundance of information to go on.

I got some cheap steel wheels and SnowTrakker tires for my Civic, seem to handle snow/ice pretty good. On a truck, I'm thinking DR444s

What climate are you in ? we are entering summer here in the states. I keep, 110. p.s.i. in mt 22.5 tires in cold weather. I don't drive in winter all the time. where I live we have warm, hot, cool, & cold weather. so I buy tires that suit me thruout the seasons. I would not use a lug like DR444. THERE is nothing wrong with them, but they look almost like a off road tire. may hurt m.p.g. I like the all position type. but then again I don't go in snow.

Yeah, I saw the "winter" in the op and fixated on snow and slush, though I have seen many O/Os run the DR444s year round. You might look into Michelin XDN2s, lots of sipes to handle inclement weather while still delivering good fuel economy.

what kind of industry, how much snow? ice to? Are you oposed to super singles? Is Mpg important to you? Do you stay on the highway or drive a lot of back roads. Do you go off road a lot at shippers/recivers? What rear end, trans and motor do you have. What kind of truck? What speed to you like to cruise at and what speed is the fastest you run when you need to haul donkey? With out knowing all of this, no one can make a decent recommendation.

I like the xone line enrgy d on aluminum rims with 120 psi for drives. But if you have a low rear end you might need a larger diameter tire to get the speed you want. If you do a lot of off roading you may want a chunkier tire that does not get as good mpg. Yous say winter drive...does that mean you want a tire ready for snow? If thats the case i suggest just getting an auto sock for your tire. IMO it does make sence to drive all year with a worse mpg tire for the benifit of one month. Autosocks can be added to the tire to get similar performance to chains when needed.

So basicaly, need mroe info if you want a good answer.

    #### in 8 months you haven't bought tires. That's not just a late reply that's downright rising from the dead spooky.

Towing on the side? What kind of vehicle are you driving? What size are the tires?
