Millis used to pay driver's that hied on with more than 1 year of experience orientation pay but they didn't pay students that had finished training that were going through orientation. Not sure what the difference is because both student and experienced driver were being hired for the same job under the same conditions.

 

The difference is that the student still has to go out with a trainer, learn how to drive, pass his cdl, and test out. A good number of thosession students fail out. The experienced driver takes a road test, gets his truck, then gets his sign on bonus when he delivers his first load. Neither one gets orientation pay.
