    Could a 12V cigarette lighter (3 outlet strip 150WATTS) power inverter run a 19"
    TV and a PS4?

Probably not. The PS4 probably draws 150 watts by itself. A 400 watt cigarette lighter plug inverter would probably handle that load.

Don't do cigarette plug on that volume of wattage, the CIG plug wiring is not heavy enough gauge to constantly and safely carry that load, spend the money, run a heavy duty inverter line with quick connect, you see these guys that burn down their trucks overdrawing their inverters, heavy gauge wire is extra money well spent

Get a bigger inverter, and a bigger tv.

Thent get them to do it they don't want you to do it because they've had botched installs by driver running cheap 12 gauge wire when they should have run 4 or 2 gauge

The fastest way to burn down a truck is to let the driver install his own inverter.

    WitchingHour and STexan Thank this.

Appliances and tools with induction motors may require from 3 to 7 times the listed wattage when starting. The start-up load of the appliance or tool determines whether an inverter has the capability to power it. Be sure to check the specific wattage requirements and operating instructions for appliances / tools to be used.

    F.Y.I. ..... (conversion formula: Watts ÷ 120 = Amps ........ Amps x 120 = Watts)

So basically if you know how many amps your tv uses you can figure out if you have enough wattage to power it.

Since when did watts and amps have a direct relation? There is no such formula.

Sure it does as long as you're talking about the same voltage supply (120 in this case) Sometimes you're give amperage draw, sometimes you're given wattage draw. One needs a way to combine different numbers into an accurate aggregate.
