I'm out of Charlotte, deck is frozen over. If you're heading this way just park for the night, It aint worth it.

Edit- REALLY just stop before going into the Charlotte/Rock Hill area. I just checked outside. Its all ice coming down.

I would guess that if anyone locally is expecting a FedEx package they will most likely be able to locate it in a culvert somewhere in the Rock Hill/Charlotte area.

You guys are getting the same crap I dealt with last night leaving OK on I44. I wound up cutting my day short in Joplin, parked and found ice close to 1/2" thick on my truck (as well as the roads). Fortunately, I parked it safely and they cleared the roads overnight after it changed to all snow.

WCCB Charolette doesn't waste many bits reporting the news. I looked at other weather-related articles and they're all 25 words or less.

It's kind of refreshing to not read "Police blamed weather/the road for the accidents", for a change.

can't even shovel this crap off the driveway.

looks like about 1.5-2" of frozen sleet and ice.

    good 1/2" on the car.

had to walk in the lawn to get up the hill to it, busted my butt on the ice.lol

was told to deliver my AM load after lunch. yeah!!

State of emergency in TN and VA. I usually laugh at the souths ability (or lack thereof) to handle winter events but I think any state would've struggled in this situation.
