Apologies ahead of time if this is not an appropriate post for this forum. We are an established team seeking to go back over the road and would like to work for an O/O as opposed to being a company driver for a large carrier. Having teamed together before, we have worked out the logistics of team driving and understand the rigors therein.
We are in Austin, TX and willing to travel to pickup the truck so long as we are able to bring the truck home for home time. We both have our Hazmat endorsements.
I have 19 years tractor/trailer experience, with 9 years OTR, 9 months of it in the last 3 years. Currently I am a local city driver.
She's been driving 2.5 years with 8 months OTR experience. She is currently driving Line Haul from Austin to either Houston or Dallas with some local shuttle runs.
Equipment quality is important to us. An APU is preferable. We are hard workers with professional attitude. We understand the importance of customer relations, timely pickup and deliveries, and communication.
We are ready to roll on March 2nd as we will be putting our 2 week notice with our current employers.
