Yeah no doubt. They don't stay new forever. You sure don't want to eat off the floor now. It's black and I haven't hauled any seriously cruddy, dirty loads in it either. I booked one last week and gave it back to them, no thanks, when I saw it was picking up at a scrap yard. They should have been up front, or I should have asked. They gave me my rate and it was after the fact I caught that. It must happen all the time they didn't get mad but sounded sad. My days of accepting any cruddy recycled materials loads are behind me. Not picking up loads at any more trash heaps.

Reading about that Kevin Rutherford glider got me to thinking I didn't come out so bad even though my lift was a tad over priced. $200,000 for a lemon of a glider is pretty regrettable stuff. I am actually very pleased with my lift and more convinced than ever it was well worth every penny. I did one load a couple of weeks ago 380 loaded miles with one pallet about 300 lbs load. Another I am doing right now is 5 pallet spaces in the nose and a 1,000 lbs if that on 320 miles.

Since the lift was installed I've turned 6,290 total hub miles. 3,619 of those miles that front axle has been up in the air. Most of those miles were empty. 700 of them were loaded miles with the axle lifted. That's 57% of the miles I've turned so far. I knew for a fact this would be a great modification before I bought it. Wasn't just a stab in the dark hoping. I still haven't done anything to try and get a little more lift out of it due to the weather and being busy. Might not even mess with it. So far so good my tires are doing just fine. Only minor scuffs on really bad potholes, etc.
