    a lot of union outfits run those. cf,east texas motor, and i think yellow. the union drivers were always complaining about them. i was trying to remember the road name for them thanks for the tattle tale post got to pick up the school kids be safe out there

    Kids nowadays,,,,just kidding, double yellow. We called them "the pimp". We used to load them ourselves and turn in the disc at the end of the day with our logs. I heard of guys drilling a tiny hole in the cover at 55 mph, and put a pin in there to keep the needle from going over 55, then hammer down. One of the downsides of the "good ol' days.

    That was refereed to as a tattle tale clock back in the 80's early 90's, it showed how fast you were driving and how long you were stopped/driving. You could fool the speed needle with a cigarette butt, if you had the key you could open the door stop for a couple hours run the time back and shut the door drive on like the wheels never stopped turning. But the boss better not find out..

    All I could come up with was tattle -tail machine.....sometimes the memory just ain't what it used to be.

    I'll have to see if I can get a picture of one of ours, we use to run them but peoplenet changed that thank goodness it was before I was working, and yes we're union.
