When the other shoe drops is exactly what it is. The place I am going to work at come Monday you know everyone seems nice, but like I tell my folks I say "You know management at my new job seems a lot better then management at my old job, but I'll tell you right now I'm sure they know how to crack the whip to. Luckily for me I always try to run around like I have a gun pointed at my head." Of course one only has so much energy to exert and by the time the end of the day comes it's like well if you want to pull the trigger of that gun go ahead. Luckily for me though the gun man also has other problems of his own and sometimes has to walk away ha-ha. However you never know when he will return.
You ever feel this way?

Since I have worked for myself most of my life I have been on the other side, have had people come in that I knew could handle the job, but were so jacked they couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time.
Just relax and go S-L-O-W, if you are worried about making a good impression, to me, that just means you care about doing a good job, you'll be fine.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
I used to be nervous when I was real young. Nowadays I feel like the employer is getting a gift that only comes comes around once so grab me while there's a chance.
Tennesseahawk and Mike2633 Thank this. -
