Having everyone governed at the same speed is dumb..everyone running in a pack,something as easy as a blown tire and bad driver=major wreck.
Let the local bacon handle the road violations,and leave the Monfort drivers alone.

Same here, Screwdriversg, started in the late '70's. It's why I got out of it.

 

I ran OTR for many many years, knocking on wood, I have never been it a ditch or any accident, I grew up in northern Mass off route 2, lots of weather up there, It always baffles me why some just hammer down these roads with conditions like this, as if they where secured to the road by a rail or something

 

Stop making excuses....you did assign blame to speed limiters and elogs...frankly with the way you always deflect responsibility and try to justify wreckless behavior is reprehensible to say the least...elogs and speed limiters don't have nothing to do with this wreck...not one bit..

 

Why do you feel you can't stop with e-logs? You obviously have never experienced the advantages of them. Unless you're having to #### with your paper log, there is nothing to fear with them. When you stop...you hit 'off duty'...when you start moving again, it goes back to driving within a certain distance (depending on how the company has it set up)...they don't have to show a full 15 to fuel, logging by the minute you don't have to round to the nearest 15...I've been doing this 22+ years, hated e-log's at first, but I grew to love them, and I am hoping they mandate them very soon!
