Yes, are you computer savvy? If so I can let you know. It is simple file movement.

    Thanks,

Very savvy (used to be in computer repair and IT). Should be able to figure it out. Just wanted to know if the file format was compatible between the two. You seem to have answered that. Thanks for all you do for us !

    Mark,

I have a TND 720 and haul fuel in TN and KY.

Many times, I have to leave interstates (I-65, I-24, I-40, etc.) to get to the stores I drop fuel at.

Is there a way to pick a nearby interstate like I-65 or I-24 when I am in the middle of "no-where" in KY or TN and have the 720 route me to the nearest entrance ramp?

That would save me a lot of time instead of driving secondary roads to get back to a fuel terminal in Nashville.

Thank you in advance and I appreciate what you do for us RM GPS using truckers!!!

under route settings put prefer freeways and it will route you to the closest point of the freeway

    mike-v Thanks this.

Hmm, under PREFERENCES > ROUTE - I had it set to ALLOW ALL (DEFAULT) - I now set it to PREFER FREEWAYS

I'll try that and report my results.

    Thank you tow614

You might want to be careful with that setting and not use it to GO to your destination as it could give you some very strange routing, just use it to go home when you need to find the closest freeway. Have had it route me hundreds of miles extra when just having it set at prefer freeways.
The routing algorithms of the units has always been my biggest complaint.

Yes, only want it to route me AFTER I drop my fuel load...

I'll watch that setting and make sure to use my regular settings for the GO to my destination.

    Thanks for the advice jmroadhog!

Anybody else have issues with their unit showing them not on roads today? Showed it was seeing 8-9 out of 12 sats, but it was going crazy this afternoon.
