Well from what I heard that Bruce fella say I wouldn't touch that place. I think even ol' KR was getting embarrassed when he opened his trap blaming everyone from Detroit to the Op that it was their fault. What a piece of work, moral of the story is if you have anything done at PP they'll back you up till your nose bleeds.

Thing about any glider is the heart of the truck is all reman not new. They have a large following but in reality they begin life as someone else's nightmare. It's not the only one that has trouble at 100k or so I assure you. Although this one is getting the publicity for sure. I don't agree with idea that the engine can't live past 180 that's #########. We all know that. We all know that whoever is holding the warranty papers is gonna blame any one but themselves. Especially the driver, they are always the scapegoat. As far as PP not knowing the block was pretreated that's totally on them it's the builders job to know what he is building. As far as the Evans that's why I don't buy into snake oil of any kind. I will say the owner screwed himself when he decided PP was incompetent and let someone else try to fix their mistake.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned here yet is MATS. It is coming up here in a couple of weeks,it will be interesting to see how they handle it there.

I bet he finds an excuse not to come to mats. He has said that the trk shows were a drain on his resources. either way i bet he doesn't come

Any cause given for the corrosion? Too soon. It's like the corrosion was already advanced on a older engine, and PP didn't pick up on it when they decided not to boil the head and block before the inspection they didn't do. I'm not a KR fan, but if he didn't do the build this isn't on him. Those sponsor DY mentions? Not for me. iMHO
