Did you get banned at the badge office? I can see that happening. It's a frustrating base to get on. I'm nowhere near there, sorry. Is this a Landstar load?

Are you saying that you have a load that needs to go to Lockheed/Martin facility ......on the Submarine base? There is no Lock Heed naval base.

Go back to the pass office and ask the guy/lady for a contact number for the Lockheed facility. They can arrange a truck to take it inside.

    SheepDog Thanks this.

We used to run into these problems all the time with drivers who were not allowed on the base. They will either have a public works truck, or a Lockheed truck take it in if they are available. Knowing Lockheed.......they want whatever it is...................YESTERDAY!:biggrin_2556:

I appreciate your input RetiredUSN, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for your service. I apologize for calling the Navel Base, Lock Heed Martin,,,just figured it would give those that are not familiar and who would look it up, a better take on the base itself. Yes, this product is going to Lock Heed, the facility on the lower level of the Navel Base. I have been on the phone with Lock Heed since Monday, I know the two guys that are waiting for this load, pretty good. There is NO trucks that will come out of Lock Heed to pick up this load, and none that will come off the base to this truck stop I am at, to pick up this load. Believe me, I have asked, they have looked into it and it isn't happening. If you have some contact that can get done what I or Lock Heed can not,,,by all means, please call that contact.

I used to know a few civilians that worked at the facility, but they are all long gone by now. About the only option is to hire a local company to finish off the run. There are a few dozen of them locally that have drivers with lower base access.

Getting someone from a truck stop might be iffy. They might be restricted as well, without even knowing it. Submarine Bases can be a real PITA.

FortyCalGlock... I did not get banned at the badge/id building...lol It took two days, due to their systems being down (background check system on Monday and then Badge Making system on Tuesday), but I got a badge. I got my escort and headed onto base, got past the 1st gate and didn't get past the 2nd gate, except to turn around... I didn't have anywhere that I could find to store my firearm so, I risked it. My choice, no one else's and I take full responsibility for my choice. Sure, I was tied up for hours but, that is what happens when you try and bring a firearm onto a Military base. I am #### lucky that I am not labeled a terrorist and sitting in jail right now. Loss of CDL and career would have been terrible but, they gave me my stuff back and sent me on my way,,,,,"just don't step foot on this base", is all they said. The officer's were ALL very professional and treated me fairly. I have no complaints for anyone at Lock Heed or the Navel Base itself.

No, this is NOT a landstar load. The Broker is being very professional about this situation as well.
