I have 1 more long day ahead of me. Using up my fresh 70 in a hurry with this load. Left Pendleton, OR Tuesday morning, I could deliver in Dallas Thursday afternoon, but I've decided to hold off until Friday morning. Then to the shop and hope they're not too busy, I've already put myself on Saturdays board.

I believe you have to have some experience. I've seen drivers here with 6-8 mos of experience, but they didn't last long. Sometimes working here requires a little thinking on one's feet.

It is a lot more pleasant to read when things are going better. SSB started posting about his Cheese Factory job again. That's much better than his other factory job he was posting about(Hehe). Hopefully things have been going well for you as well. I haven't posted much lately but things have been going really well for me. I've ran the Northwest and Southeast all winter and things have been nice. Haven't seen much snow this year and that's strange for the Northwest. Anyways, glad to know your still checking in on us. Take care out there! :)

yea, both factories are owned by the same guy, he just transferred staff from one factory to another so he didn't have to lay anyone off.

Already got my Outbound set up for Saturday...back to the same place I have gone to for the last 3 trips out of GP...headed to University Park. It was there, Greenfield, IN...a multi-stop to Raymond, NH...an upstate NY, multi-stop to WI or a multi-stop to New Braunfels....so I may be turning another 2 week run on the scenic route to the west coast(an updated CW McCall song...Seattle via Illinois)....fine by me, like L-Rob said...it's snow free out there. And onions are starting to be moved back east, so back hauls aren't a problem.

Experienced one of the better Streakin Beacon's...Salina, KS...after last weeks snowy mess in MN, my truck was white with a tinge of red showing thru. Stopped there, was 3rd in line. In and out in an hour, and it was clean. The last 2 times I hit the N.Little Rock Beacon...I had white soap streaks down the side because they don't rinse enough, even when you ask for them to do it...they suck. Dallas is always too backed up when I go thru, so when ever I get the chance, I will route myself thru Salina.

I like how that works. So you're telling me the wine factory folks can suck it up enough to work in the cheese factory as well???Hehe!

Sounds like loads are still lining up well for you again. I delivered at the Costco in Sumner today. There were two other Poly's there. We all got our Backhauls just fine. One of them got onions and one got beans. I ended up getting the back to Henderson load. I kind of wanted that one this time so I was happy. Chance to rack some miles yet again. I'm sitting about the same on miles as you. Been good for my little cheese factory folks as well. Hopefully things keep going well for all on here. Take care out there! :)

My short run on Monday was supposed to be ready at 9am and was ready around 9:30pm lol. I delivered that in new Braunfels tuesday and got a backhaul from pole tex to gp. Outbound called me and asked if I would take a university park run and i wasn't even on the board for Wednesday but I took it. I deliver tomorrow morn and have a backhaul picking up in kenosha wi, with 2 drops in sealy and new Braunfels tx.
