I had 2 weeks off, loaded a scraper Monday and delivered it Tuesday, and came back home. I can't believe how slow it is, it should be picking back up, not this.

I was very close to doing that, glad I decided to wait a bit.

No you read correctly, that's how bad things are right now.

Need to haul it with the tires on and couldn't find the width, even asked to brokers- no answer.

Mostly just screwed right now, need to be home a week from Sunday for a deal with the wife

Yup pretty slow for me too. Haven't been to the port of Tacoma in almost a month. Heading down there tomorrow though for a front end loader

Tough in my neck of the woods as well. I bid some light heavy hauls (52-62K) what I considered cheap, and only got a load to IL. Step deck, light RGN, and flatbed is slow as well. The only thing that is moving is van freight, but that is getting soft as well. I am hearing lots of concerns out there. Hope I am wrong...

Do you guys know of any scales that I can use to weigh at on the 85 in ND? I'm picking up in watford city and permitted south on the 85 to the SD border. I've heard that the state scales are cracking down. If nothing is on 85, I'll just head to the J in beach.

It's slow everywhere. I don't understand, the weather finally breaks and freight slows down. Sitting in Baytown, Tx. Delivered to the port this morning, load rates are garbage for the few loads out there. Oh well, guess I'll just wait & see what Monday has to offer.
