    Greetings All,

I seek a CDL position in the San Antonio area in oil & gas transportation. I have a Class A-CDL with HazMat, Tankers, and Doubles & Triples endorsements, no accidents or tickets, a current DOT Physical with no restrictions, and a TWIC. I can pass a drug test and have no criminal history. Also, I have 17 months experience working as a vacuum truck driver in the Midland/Odessa area.

I recently visited San Antonio and want to move to that area.

So, anyone have any leads on where I should apply? I am open to any CDL job in the oil and gas industry, but would prefer to switch to hauling crude oil.

    I thank you in advance.

    Eddie

WOW,........... (crickets chirping)................ not a single lead?!

To me that sums up the status quo of oil & gas trucking at the moment.......... it is not that there are no jobs at all, it is that things have really slowed down.......... OK, you already knew that. Anyway, if anyone hears of an opening for a CDL driver in the San Antonia area, please let me know. I want to stay in oil & gas

Eddie, look at Dupre Logistics. They are the only company I know of and have worked for that are still hiring crazy. You can work for them in their Floresville yard, which is 30 minutes south of San Antonio. Close enough you can still live in the city. Or you can work out of Houston if you are interested in relocating there. They also have yards spread out further south. I just left them to come home to Florida. Great company, dispatch is decent, plenty of work, 40 hour guarantee, can't be beat. Good luck.

Spent 2.5 years in the area and never heard of them. Doesn't mean anything though, there are a lot of good companies out there. Good luck.
