    I was company for 3 years before I went I/C, I'm believe the same people are still there as there was only like 8 of them.

    I'm no longer with them as I had enough of them always being behind on payroll. But yeah we had a guy who always got his check on time and complete. After they changed the pay for the port guys his check wasn't correct anymore. That was a couple of months ago and every week he has to call payroll and ask wtf.

    He called me the other day laughing saying he now understood why I was so upset as they are now a few thousand behind on his pay.

    At the worst knight owed me like 5k from unpaid trips. Its a shame honestly because the guys worked worth/for are great people. Just the corporate side can suck a donkey.

    Wow, is all I can say to that. Never ran into that issues, Tho I have never been on the Port or the Dry side. When I was company and on daily pay if a trip did not pay out that day I would just re transflow that paperwork and it would come thur the following day.

    Sorry to here some people just had a horrid experience. As stated before it amazes me the night and day difference that people seem to have.

    There's only 1 guy who does o/o payroll settlements at Knight dry side..

    Don't feel bad JB Hunt Stole 18 hours of detention from us.that is why we don't haul for the sorry SOB's No mater what they pay.& we blocked the ######## on our phone's

    That is one reason why I was told never to do port/rail for a larger fleet, but if I were to do it, drive for a smaller fleet or O/O because its more of a controlled environment especially when it came to pay. As for the Original post, I know that even on the company side we have had a LOT of drivers on the FED EX loads getting screwed with layovers. Not so much on the pay, but on the load side. They were talking about sitting between 1-3 days just to get off loaded as well screwing them on the miles. For a company driver on the dry side, we only get 10/hr max of 10 hrs per day for sitting, so I rather be running! Let us know what Knight does to settle it, if anything.
