So this whole thread is making my head hurt. I don't follow the Kevin De'fraud, and haven't had any need or use for anything from Pittsburg Power. So If I get this right, based on advice from KR, these folks buy a glider and have PP put it together for them. This much I can understand. If Gliders were still a viable economic solution for me, I would consider one. I sure wouldn't be spec'd the way those guys did. But then they take a rebuilt engine from Detroit Diesel, and then take it all apart to MicroBlue the components, and do the same with the transmission? I read the microblue website. That was good for a laugh.
So then at 100,000 miles the engine craters, the transmission input shaft seal is leaking, they have replaced the clutch 3 times, and peed around changing the turbo? Looking at the pictures on the facebook, reading the KR and PP websites, it would be apparent to me that last place you would want to get an engine from, truck work done, or buy components from would be PP. To me it looks like pi** pour work man ship on the part of PP and totally crap advice on the part of KR.
I hope these people have enough sense to be rid of that truck as soon as they can, I'm sure that one of KR's followers would snap it up in a hurry. I sure as frigg wouldn't.
The stupid in this whole deal, it hurts.
Kevin Rutherfrauds $200000 Signature glider truck has complete engine failure!!!

Well your pretty close. Several other issues in addition to what you mentioned. I'm not going to debate micro blue, IMHO it works, at least for wheel bearings.

It keeps getting curious-er all the time. Is there anything on this truck that isn't a certifiable pos?

Who closed their facebook account? I keep seeing it mentioned in the ttt comments, but it looks like bruce and kevin still have theirs?

My guess on the double frame is that the KW engineers did it. They have screwy rules to protect the company. My old boss ordered his trucks without 5th wheels because there was no wiggle room where they could be placed to make our trucks legal for Idaho's offtrack law with a 53ft quad flat. Pulling a flat we ran our air and electric out the back of the frame. Order a truck with a 5th wheel and KW would run the lines out the back. Order it without a 5th wheel and they wouldn't. They were worried about someone mounting a box or bed on the truck.
And my theory on the whole N-14 thing is that KR gets off on seeing how many people he can get to buy into what he's selling.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -

There is(was) a guy in Buffalo that screwed many people out of a lot of money. Fortunatly, we don't hear much on him anymore(wouldn't be surprised to hear he is dead?).
KR is running along the same path. Hopefully not to many people get screwed out of their hard earned $ before the everyone sees it and learns?
Jeff and Kathy, wishing the best for you, getting out of this mess! -
