True this is a good site to find jobs but there's always extra sites like their local news paper, google their city and what type of driving they prefer.Craigs list, not all jobs are bad from that site.

Sorry about that Chinatown. I was incredibly sick with a nasty sinus infection when I posted this. You have helped us before, and I thank you. We are located in NE Ohio, near Canton. We are looking into Transport America and Schneider.

Okay, everyone. We are asking other drivers because, even though we have a computer, we can't take it in the truck. Why are we leaving? Well, let's start with the list. We almost froze to death last week (literally) because we were in the cold and could not run the truck. Our company gives us only just enough money to make the run and get back, not enough to be able to run the truck at night. Our truck heater requires that the truck be on to work. We have several blankets and such, but it is bad. We woke up one day last week to see frost on the inside of the cab's windshield.

Also, the truck is not maintained properly, so we have a problem with it almost every week. There have been only two weeks when we have not had some issue with it. Then, the boss regularly calls us up and hassles us on our days off. When we are running, he actually followed us one time when he should have been going the opposite direction. He called us up and asked us what the sign we just passed said. Our dispatch doesn't give us an address to the places where we load or unload, or even directions. There have been times that we have walked into a shipping office without a number because she would not give it to us. We are not being paid holiday pay, yet we were expected to run over the holidays. When we are running, we have to lock the doors or they will randomly come open while we are going down the road.

There is much more to this. However, I am not going to go completely into the rant. I am sure you get the picture here. We are just looking for someplace where we can eliminate some of that hassle. Also, our boss is getting up there in years, has several health issues (his doctor told him that he should have been off the road five years ago), and will likely not be in business much longer.

If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I think I accidentally posted in the Western Express thread because we were checking them out...

    Pride Transport - 100% no-touch freight
    Ozark Motor Lines - 100% no-touch freight/no NYC/no Canada

Are you both drivers running teams?

He drives, and I drive him crazy!! Seriously, though, I handle going into the places and doing the paperwork, help with fuel stops, communicate with our dispatch, run maps, whatever needs doing that is legal for me to do and doesn't require me behind the wheel. That's one of my jobs, and I try to freelance write whenever I can edge it in.
