    Hey guys
i just got Dyno done to one of the truck I was maybe interested in. I got a copy of the report. There are no blowby numbers on it..

And what are your thoughts on the Dyno report, I was concern about the engine oil pressure sticking to 73 but started dropping low after 5 mins or so. I was not there for the Dyno, it is coming from a freightliner dealership so I'm hoping it was legit:biggrin_2552:

At 190 F my truck has oil pressure 17psi at idle and 50psi at 1500 rpm. Cold engine has 75psi oil pressure . the highest boost I had was 25 psi. To measure blow by the oil separator must be disconnected . But if you disconnect the oil separator you will have active code. So practically measuring blowby is very hard and dealers don't do usually.

hey mhyn thanks for your response..

what at did u mean by 190f?
thats what I was thinking that they jus started the truck and got to the point fast that's why the engine oil pressure was at 73psi but 5 minutes into it, it starts to come down.

The Boost pressure seem to be sticking close to 30psi is that normal on freightliners, even after 5 minutes into it??

the last two reports I seen both had blow bys on it and the guy I showed it too he looked at blow bys and said "oh the blow by is good" that's why I was curious about it, well atleast now I know and well in on the dealers case to do it by disconnecting the oil separator, he is prolly going to charge me the same as if he was to disconnect the oil separtor.
