mark is correct, sometimes city tickets are not sent to the state because the state will want there cut. but by all means pay the city if they ignore the fact the you can be on a street if its the most direct route to the shipper or receiver. lots of luck

IMHO---it Will show up--just Austin is way behind on data entry--not unusual in many locations--got one in Garland while back---even w/wife callin regular--it took jus shy of 5MONTHS to post--and on the same day it posted--the letter stating I had 3 DAYS to respond was mailed--what a PITA..

3 days to respond? WTF?

I got a ticket in Texas and called on the day the officer said to call and see what the fine was going to be. Well for over a month I also tried to resolve this. Then one week, two days after talking to the clerk I get a letter stating that my license was going to be suspended if I did not pay the fine within 10 days. Well this was Friday and the ten days was up on Monday. It also stated in the letter that this was a courtesy letter because they were not required to send it by law.
I don't think this is the fault of the officer because you got a computerized ticket but rather the incompetent clerks that could not find their a $$ if both hands were glued to it.cherishangel Thanks this. -
Maybe best to contact a local lawyer
cherishangel Thanks this.
