I was curious as to what happened. Like you said hitting you on the right isn't easy!! Though maybe he was on an on ramp. May your day get better!!

I'm glad he survived. That Pilot got pretty chewed up.

 

Happen to me once in Ontario during winter, the driver of a white bmw lost it while passing me ended up under trailer rubbing front axle of tandem.

It was snowing a bit and there was a slight accumulation of snow and slush on the road, i guess his low profile summer tire and lack of common sens cost him a pair of pant and a 50k car.

The OPP officer who got on the scène was blown away to see such a stupid move from the 4 wheeler, he told him in front of me with the road condition you shouldn't have tried to pass that truck and issued him a ticket for driving dangerously.

The police officer told me that as second job he was driving a truck for a friend and he had lot's of respect for professional drivers.

On a final not i had zero damage to my trailer, other than white paint on the box for suspension drop valve.

 

Now the neat part, seeing how it was his sister's car.
I wonder if her insurance will cover it or will he be paying sister for another car.

 

Car insurance is good with any licensed driver in almost all cases. Assuming she has insurance....
