I may get to use the new Monday paperwork deadline this week. My back haul out of K/C delivers 6am Monday in Houston. With luck I will be back in GP before the cutoff time...if so, it'll give me 3600 miles for the week after a 4200 mile week last week...and, other than a surprise request for a parked regen from my truck, all seems to be well on the equipment issues, knock on wood (or knock on environmentaly friendly laminated wood like substance made from sustainable recycled plastic)

Has anyone else ever been held up by a slow moving train that was so long, you could nuke lunch and start eating it before the gates went up? Leaving my shipper this afternoon, that is exactly what happened. I had time to get up, nuke one of my cans of Campbels 'soup to go' tomato soup, sit down and have a couple gulps before the train cleared...but it was one of those coal trains (not John coal train), and it had to go at 'town speed'....and I passed over the same train once I got on the interstate headed south.

I have gotten the royal screwing from the shop..... guess it was my turn. Put tractor in shop Wednesday for a check engine light and new or clean existing dpf filter. Truck was done in a hour or so. When I signed it out, the paperwork said replaced differential sensor. I asked about the filter and they said that the sensor was causing the filter to clog and not regen :/. Sooo I got my load today and left gp around 2030. Made it almost to Minden la when manual regen light comes on. 10 miles from the loves so I head there and now stop engine light is on and cant do a regen.
Tommy has fleetnet send out roadside service I guess to look at me and say you need a tow unless he knows something I dont(which is very possible). Almost 2 am uggh hate waiting to be told to wait some more lol.

I got that stop engine light on as well due to a maximum clog level on Wed night and I am still rolling 1300miles later and I don't intend to stop until I get back to Henderson unless it totally shuts down. International shops up here wouldn't start fixing it before it sit a couple of days and I don't have time for that. Only thing is having to listen to that #### beeper going off all day long and a loss in power. Hoping to hold it together for three more days. Also had a turbo line blow off due to a clamp that broke. Had to borrow a couple of small clamps from the APU to finagle a temporary fix but got her done.

I think we must have gotten some bad fuel or something. Right after I left GP last Thursday, regen light came on. I drove a little while because it says on the visor to drive at highway speeds OR pull over and do a manual regen. I went from the on ramp of 161 onto I30, all the way thru town, up 12 to I35 until the pot-hole city T/A there in Denton. It never went out....so I did a 40 minute regen, and thankfully it did the trick and has been pulling normally ever since.

I almost had one of those TTF worthy accidents...my butt cheeks are still cramping from it holding onto the seat. Rolling south out of Pauls Valley down I-35 this early a.m., traffic was light, pull that grade just south of the OK coops, and get into those little rollers where they cut the road thru the very top of the hills...crest a hill and the last 3 or 4 cars that had just passed me suddenly start brake-checking and heading for the grass...I brake as hard as a loaded truck can stop because there is a 4-wheeler sitting crossways straddling the center line, 2 cars on the shoulder and me and my 102 wide trailer comming at them...people scatter, butt cheeks pucker and I manage to get stopped with about 3 inches to spare on either side of my cab...I hit the 4 ways, get out to see if I can get the right shoulder to move some...and the driver of the car in the road comes up and asks me to move his car for him...WTF? I check, there isn't a scratch on it, it's just sitting in the middle of the road like it was a parking lot, with the engine running. People gather, and he's asking everyone to move his car...I didn't smell booze on him, or any other "certain" odor...so I don't know what was up...unless he was asleep at the wheel and spun out...I didn't chance messing with him, especially in a Poly uniform and in a Poly truck...but told him "let me get out of the way, and you can do it yourself...it's only 15 feet." Meanwhile the crowd had the cops on the way, so I moved...to the Walmart in Ardmore, there was no crash, and there were plenty of other witnesses... I was inside 30 minutes later still so rattled at how close I came to a big time crash that I was wondering around trying to remember exactly why I came in here....oh, that's right...this week's groceries...

Lol good luck. Im stuck till Tuesday/Wednesday in a hotel and was on my home load Of course. Next time I will be doing what you're doing. I understand #### happens and nobody is going to move as fast as I want them but dealing with fleetnet/shop and emergency outbound is a crapshoot. I guess they have busy weekends lol. Oh well time to relax and make the best of this crap.

Soooo my load got repowered today around 10am. The driver was a real nice dude and was easy to communicate with. I called the dealership before the driver got there just to make sure somehow my truck wasnt already done lol. i was told they may look at it this afternoon or maybe tomorrow in the morning. I was kinda pissed hah. So i get the room for another night and at about 1500 i get a call from the dealership saying my truck is done :/. Glad its done , whish they would have looked at it saturday as it was obviously something easy to fix. Anyways tomorrow morning im on my way to houston, then back to GP and try this home load stuff again.

A word of warning for the next few days. If anyone takes the back roads out of Pol-Tex...Tx-150 between FM1725 and New Waverly is being reworked. They have about 5 or so miles down to dirt and gravel. Made a major mess out of my truck. And the outside display on Pol-Tex's scale isn't working, but the scale itself is o.k., you just have to do the scale like UPN for now.

I got empty at Houston Kroger this morning then they sent me to Pol-Tex to get a GP load. They offered a Henderson load, but I have been out since mid-Feburary, and was planning on being home over Easter. Outbound called, had choices...Joisey, PA and many FL loads...I am headed to Jacksonville. If I turn and burn back to TX from FL, I will have around 12k this month. However...my regen issue is rearing it's ugly head as well. While sitting in Houston over the weekend waiting for my delivery appointment the manual regen light came on again. It went out once I regened, but that is every couple days. I may need a DPF service soon. But other than that, the snackbar campground is a quiet place to be right now.
