I've been driving since 98 and have passed the hazardous materials endorsement up to this point. The test had some new questions on it which I am not familiar with. I failed by getting seven questions wrong. Seven questions is a fail, six would have been a pass, go figure. Anyway, My question is, is there a site I can go to to study for the test or a class that can be taken ? The type of work I do does not require a hazmat endorsement however I would still like to have it on my license since its been on there for so long.
Thanks in advance for any potential help.
So I failed the hazmat test and...

No biggie..... Normally each state DMV will hand out a study guide.
Here is a site that I reference once in a while.

Look at the top of this site there are practice tests. I've never used them so I'm not sure how thorough they are.
Edit: I was to slow -
top of the page cdl practice tests
plenty of others on google -
I would do practice tests on line and just get prepared. I had to take the passenger and school bus to get my third party CDL examiners certification and I failed both tests because I went in with the attiyude "I got this, I don't need to brush up" well after I ate my humble pie and studied, I passed the test. So this is why I suggest to practice and get a PDF of the CDL manual from your state and read it a little every night. I was getting frustraited when I got an answer wrong and hte BIG RED INCORRECT cam on, It ruined my concentration.

Get a cdl manual from your dmv station. There's a hazmat chapter and everything in there is what is on the test. It's a long chapter but that's how I got my hazmat.Since it's not vital you have it on your CDL just take your time study the chapter and learn as you read. Then the next time you'll get 100%

Thanks for the responses. The test I took was only 30 questions. I basically just need to know what exactly I should memorize and what I don't need to memorize.
Again, thanks for the quick replies.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
In IL they let you take it up to 3 times. and some of the questions will be the same from one test to the next, plus you get to look at the questions you missed first. So..... if you only missed by one question you are bound to pass second or third try, right ?
