Got my letter today as well, why would we file a claim for funds? Chapter 11 is total bankruptcy so I doubt we will see anything...

Got the letter also. Last year USIS lost its government contracts. They had a large underground storage facility in my area. Consequently, it was big news around here. The government was their main cash cow. I am sure the loss of those contracts precipitated its bankruptcy. I couldn't imagine a better fate for them b@st@rds.

So, in essence, are we being informed for the issue of possible settlements? Or is this merely a proviso for informational purposes?

Does this stand any chance of amending false and deleterious information from our professional credentials as drivers perhaps, or are we still screwed in that regard being that it involves the vultures known as the Fed?

It is not a Class Action Law Suit...it is a Bankruptcy. They (the Courts) wanna know who all they owe money to, so they can 'forgive' it legally.
All the legal jargin on that letter is confusing to regular folk like me, so I had to read it a couple times. I WISH it was a law suit....I would gladly take a few bucks from them jerks. -
Got another useless letter today, makes two now.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I'm glad you folks cleared this up for me. I also received a letter and had no idea what it was about.
-
It would have simplified the letters if they just wrote an explanation as to why we would be owed money and from whom. Nothing like the mystery of legal jargon.
