Virginia is supposedly going to start fining truck drivers again for left lane violations. OK to pass, but not cruise. If they do that in Hampton Roads, it will be nothing but a bottle neck every wheres. -

That ticket is really not that big of deal!
Show up in court or better yet let a lawyer handle it.
Get it dismissed and you CAN have it removed from PSP through the Data Q system.
Open a dispute, upload a certified copy from the court it was dismissed and they will remove it.
FMCSA passed a law sometime back that adjudicated cases will be corrected on Data Q...
I had a 11-14 over ticket removed from my PSP.
It also is NOT the same cop who decides to remove it.
Each state has several Highway Patrol lieutenants that handle PSP disputes....It does not go back to the same cop that pulled you. -
I drive in that lane on a daily basis due to the fact you have all the Mega companies that wont ride the far right lane.. I drive a red day cab, never had any problems.
OP maybe you should sign up for drivers legal plan. Costs like $13 a month and if you ever get in this situation again they will have a lawyer go to court on your behalf ( anywhere in the US ) and fight the ticket for you and its a flat fee of $100 you pay. I have had a couple minor tickets one was a lane violation when I was OTR in Tennessee and they took care of it for me. In my opinion well worth the 13 a month.Dark Squall Thanks this.
