I read some where that they have greatly improved and the drivers that have been there over 6 months with a good safety record that they raise up the govern truck to 72mph. that sounds like a pretty good deal.
So you want to drive for Schneider?

WOW that frist post was a lot to take in. I am going to test for my CDL's this friday. I live in Atlanta so I am pretty much 100% sure I am going with Schneider. It's close to home and a big company. I was looking at doing tanker but don't want to spend the 28 days away from home for training. Don't want to bit off more that I can chew. I was looking at doing Regional or OTR. Im thinking about doing Dry Van for 6 months and then trying to go to Tanker. I really hope that all the bad things that were said are not more common than the good. #### I make about 21,000 a year now and im looking to make a lot more driving. Guess we will see how it goes. I know Scheinder hires a lot but also loose alot, so maybe just maybe if I do good then I hope to get some miles. Wish me luck

Got a question. I am going to choose my job tomorrow at Schneider. Which would be better Regional or Georgia Pacific?[h=1][/h]

400 hundreds miles a day ?

Gp go dedicated.
-
Do you live near a G/P plant?
-
Dedicated would give you a bit more certainty as to what you'll be doing and going which is a good thing..plus consistent pay too which definitely helps.

Thanks guys for the help.

#### I just looked online the GP Dedicated job is gone, but there 's a JC Penny Dedicated. Don't know how many miles it's good for. About to talk to them and pick a job. Wish me luck. I guess going to JC Penny's wouldn't be to bad since I will be going to malls all over the place.
