I think he meant Livonia, MI lol that's just west of Detroit.

Random question for you NCMickey: I saw one of magnums 579's the other day with a license plate hanging on the grill that looks like the NC State flag, is that you?

No kidding... I am originally from Mays Landing, and now I live just outside of Atlantic City. My dad grew up about 20 minutes north of you in Sparta.

Got empty this morning in Lewisville, Tx., reloading 9 miles away in Grapevine, Tx. Going to Aurora, Co. for Monday morning at 0600. If I can get loaded early I'm going to knock out a couple hundred miles today, and knock out the rest tomorrow, and get in a 34 reset.

Just coming off a 34 hr myself, picked up a load in Grand Forks going to Statesville NC, nice 1400 mile trip to start my last week in training, and to top it off my trainer picked up his 2016 579 so I get to enjoy that as well!

out of pocket. You can get a cash advance when you fuel to cover it if needed. You are reimbursed in your next check.

I'm sitting waiting for a door at Supervalu in Hopkins MN. I made my delivery yesterday morning in Livonia, MI, then deadheaded down to Napoleon OH and dropped and hooked at Campbell's soup. After I get unloaded here, I'm going to head out to Gaylord MN. I will have a preloaded trailer in the AM headed back to North Carolina.

During my initial 4wk training period (at Magnum) am I paid for each day away from home or just the days I actually drive? Does the company have advances available for the trainees? If I dont get my state tax refund before orientation im looking at Ramen and water for at least 2 weeks lol...but seriously. ..

Tks again for all the detailed info so far.

Hello, you are paid for your orientation, but need to keep in mind Magnum pays every two weeks. Following that you are paid for each day you are with your trainer until you graduate and get your truck assignment, but on the two week cycle.

During training you need to have money for food and laundry, all truck expenses are paid by your trainer. Also be aware that all Magnum trainers are taking delivery of their 2016 Peterbilt 579's, they are awesome trucks but not nearly as roomy as the older 587's so any more than a duffel and a backpack will be to much. I hope this helps, I am on my last out and back run with my trainer and hopefully will be graduating next Friday and heading home.
