    Some hints when routing.

    If you put in a route and it looks a little "odd", change to Car mode and see if the route is correct. If so, then it is a truck restriction on the road that may be incorrect or it may be only allowing Non-STAA vehicles.

    If you change to Car mode and still get the "odd" routing it will be in the maps. Maps are build by segments and do have cost factors that are taken into account when routing.

    If the road is rated as a rank 0 road it will not route you.

    These things I can check and if needed to be changed can be submitted to HERE.

    I purchased and returned this tablet, i wear polarized glasses and i guess the designers of this tablet overlooked the fact that many drivers wear sunglasses. The screen is polarized if mounted horizontal which is the mounting position for the gps mode the screen being polarized cancels out and is not visible . Excellent idea in my opiion and i am sure rand will get it right on the next one that comes out

    The same thing is happening to my boyfriend. Before finding this thread we tried clearing the cache and then the data for the app. The final step was uninstalling (assuming that it would remove updates like an android phone).

    It uninstalled the app and then stated that there was an update, but did not reinstall the app. The app is now gone. It tries to update, but nothing happens. Can't even go into market.

    A message was sent to RM.

    Can you help?

    This isn't the tablet but the fact on how LCD screens work. I have this problem with some of them like my ipad and iphone,

    Main screen/tap on the > on the right, blank part of the screen long press (hold finger down), bottom tap on the Cog (configure),Launcher truck, bottom of screen press Check for new updates. You will not see anything, but watch on the upper left of the screen for the down arrows (solid), swipe down and install.

    Got the app reinstalled and it worked for a day. It is locked up again, won't let him cancel the route and keeps attempting to take him back to where he just left. He rarely goes to someplace he has never gone to, but his latest dispatch is somewhere new. Looking at buying a basic gps and to try to get RM to fix this. Not impressed. Any ideas? RM hasn't responded to his email.

    Kill the app go in and hit new location don't hit history. I had to do that several times before the update fixed mine few times had to restart to get to work. For some reason if you went back and hit history it just kept routing me back to my start point. Hope that helps you. make sure it's updated. Mine hasn't given me anymore issues
