I've been applying to a few company's for regional and local driving, I've so far received calls back from Swift, Cypress truck lines and Arnold Transportation. Just wondering if anyone out there works or has worked for any of these guys with any input you could provide, Cypress and Arnold would be out of Jacksonville, Swift I would assume Ocala. I look forward to hearing from y'all! and Swift i would probably try to get into the flatbed division.

Cowan Systems is looking for Class A Drivers living within a 75 mile radius of Jacksonville and Orlando for no touch van work. They pay .40 cpm and you are out 5 to 7 days with 34 to 48 hours at home. Paid weekly and benefits after 60 days.

The problem with Cowan is the age requirement, They require you to be 23. I am only 21, about to be 22

I work for Cypress running dumps, I like it over here, in fact wish I would have came sooner but like a lot of people I took in to consideration all the BS stories about rough equipment and all the other stories drivers tell. Granted I have an old 96 International, but all of us on the dump side have the older trucks, it's well maintained and has no maintenance issues whatsoever. The company as a whole will work with you the driver, as long as you hustle and do what's expected then there's a ton of options for you here. There's a lot of different runs and variations that can keep you close to home, or allow you to run OTR whichever you prefer. They just started hiring for a tri-state FL, GA, SC that will guarantee you the same weekend hometime, but also has the possibility of going home through the week. Just my opinions, and observations so far, wish I would have come here sooner.

    FireFighter_02 and 123456 Thank this.

Probably not too good, they like to hire experienced drivers for that but it's worth a call. Call Sharee and talk to her about it. Dumps are somewhat slow right now, looking at picking back up after the 4th of July. But like I said there's a ton of different options. I think we have a Jax 175, and 250 turn around which would work good for you because you live in Starke, I think this is daily, or almost daily hometime. If you talk to her and decide to come on, tell her Zach in truck 49274 sent you that way.

Go through Sharee, I've had better experiences with her.
